Well, it didn't win the creature contest, but oh well. I had fun making it and some people seem to like it. That's enough for me. Here's a link to what did win.. not commenting. [link] feel free to comment on what YOU think though.
Going to submit this for the creature lover's creature of the week contest. Why not. they've denied everything else.
I figure it's a shape-shifter that transforms into the shape of something it's hunting. In this case the opposite sex of a human it's wanting to eat. Then when it gets in close, it changes, tearing through the veneer it has created and attacks.
There, it's a whole creature for the creature lover's group. So they can't complain about that. It doesn't have a single true form. It just adopts bits and pieces as they're convenient for a given environment. I know this because i made it and that's what it is because i said so. LOL So nyah.
Poser, photoshop, airbrushing and some of my photography. Loving my new art pad. Got to do some finishing touches with it. The background is a shot I took one foggy morning in the back yard.

Awesome work 
I like this image becaue I have recently gotten into trying to draw human-like creatures (It's very difficult for me) and this piece is helpful because it reminds me of how important body-shapes are for females, but I'm better at drawing males
